Shake the World uses public health principles to improve the health of communities in Honduras. Founded in the U.S., the organization raises money and organizes health projects in the area of El Porvenir, Honduras.
Shake the World Health aims to provide a variety of initiatives to improve the health of Honduran communities. Our current project is health education classes for adolescents and we plan to expand to a public health center as well.

We are so excited to have finished our fifth KIP Program for youth on February 1, 2020! We had a successful group with 20 graduating students, led by our lead teacher, Keyla Padilla Oro, our assistant teachers Deysi Ardon and Indira Ortiz, and with help from our founder and board president, Cristina Woodhouse.
At this time we have had approximately 120 students graduate from our KIP Program and many of them continue to stay in touch with us and ask when the next course will be!
At the 2020 community health fair (the culmination of our KIP Program), we were fortunate this year to have had young journalist and influencer Nicole Cerrat on the scene with her cameraman, which gave us publicity as well as a nice video to share. We will be starting our online fundraising sale soon so check back to see our items for sale!
