VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

New for 2023 - we are now recruiting lead teachers and assistant teachers for our KIP Program to take place in July or August 2023 in El Porvenir, Honduras! We are looking for one lead teacher and one assistant teacher.  Lead teacher must have at least intermediate Spanish, advanced Spanish preferred.  Teachers will be working alongside our local lead teacher Keyla Padilla Oro.  

Time committment is approximately 4 weeks and volunteers will be living in the community.  In addition to teaching the health education course for adolescents there will be free time to explore the beach, river, local restaurants, or even visit nearby tourist attractions on the weekends.

We are looking for the following roles:

• Help with our fundraising events (serving food, donating items to sale, greeting guests, setting up events, etc.)
• Serving as a board member for the Shake the World Health board of directors
• Writing grants for Shake the World Health to support our projects financially 
• Other needs that may arise
